Ladies and Gentlemen! The people behind MrJamesHerald and The Herald Newspaper was indeed The Capetta Family.

(Some people 100% knew it all along. Some people will feel ripped off. Some people will be very jelous. Just keep any first thoughts on hold, while I tell you step by step how things went.)

 

90% of that time, it would have been me, Ant, speaking as MrJamesHerald but the whole act orchestrated by The Capetta's.

 

Never have I poured so much effort into IMVU. I've had days where I've been a real sad case and spent 10 hours on this thing. It;ss been a bumpy road at times, and believe me it was very close to going all wrong. So much emotion was brought in, and boy it feels good to have what we , at the Capetta's, would describe as the biggest achievment ever made in IMVU Mafia history. I could'nt be more proud.

 

But let's hold on from all the typical Capetta bragging. We have lots of brag about and alot of time to do it. However, that sorta thing should'nt be aimed at everyone. This was a scam for some people, but an absolute joy for most people.

 

Me and Gez will be the first to tell you all that we are absolutely gutted that MrJamesHerald is'nt a real person. I think it's fair to say Mr Herald captured so many people's hearts and changed the face of IMVU Mafia.

 

How it all started

 

Those guys who managed to view my avatar homepage about.. hmm.. 1 year ago? will have noticed Newspaper style images about me. It was just fun. It made this whole Mafia universe come to life a little bit. I guess you could say it was my own little version of Roleplay (the newspaper spoke about Ant robbing a bank).

 

Shortly after this, me and Gez re-united with the rest of Capetta again to make a full comeback. Our first little obstacle being the Mongati's. We got rid of them, along with LeeLucenko. So proud of what we did, I made this little newspaper called "The IMVU Herald" and made it out like the whole thing was real. It was so unplanned at this time, that I'm sure me and Gez mentioned it to Saffie (something which you will read more about later). We all loved the paper but we all got together and said, "hey, we can make this a real thing?" it could be a chance to earn credits.

 

Never in a million years did we expect MrJamesHerald to have so much power. The group had members flooding in. We was all shocked. It jusst proved what a great idea this was and how unique it was. MrJamesHerald was literally a God figure, wether some of you like it or not. We didn't make Herald famouss and powerful, guys you did. With the typical online cluttering and gossiping, which alot of you don't know the effects of. You gotta give credit to us for realising that.

 

MrJamesHerald as a Character

 

MrJamesHerald's back story is pure bullsh*t. We linked him to Mongati, because we knew that family was completely written off and nobody couldd trace the steps. We said the guy is Bisexual and often dressed him in, let's say, clothing that would suggest a certain sexual orientation. Of course it was a stunt to steer him away from being Capetta.

 

We at Capetta are Men. Men amongst Men. We love women. We're like the Paul Stanley's and Gene Simmon's of IMVU Mafia. We just gave Rock n Roll to you (lol). SO that's why Herald came accross as...different. Especially the flirtation with Rex.

 

As MrJamesHerald, we spoke in full English and had certain phrases such as...

 

• "ha ha ha"
   

• "LOL"
   

• "LMAO"
   

• "xD"
   

• "Greetings"
   

• "Have a splendid day"

 

Just to further steer MrJames away from being a Capetta, who's members never use such language.

As Ant, I spoke in my finest "broken up" English. All the spelling mistakes to go with it. All intentionally done.

 

We smashed ForrestSoprano for having Alts because he directly attacked us and tried to put our Newspaper in alot of danger. Yes it was Morally wrong, because we have been an Alt. But we had to do what we did. We came back to this issue a few month's later though and made up with Forrest and gave him all the respect he deserves for turning to a changed man. I'm sure the guy has no angry thoughts towards Herald now.

 

Demetri's news about being an Alt was out too. Shame, we loved Demetri. We had to publicise that issue to protect ourselves - but with no pleasure.

 

THE TOP 10 MOBSTERS OF IMVU

 

Believe it or not, all cards on the table. Was not blagged. Pardon me, there wasn't like 80 votes or something for Gez, but he did honestly top the votes. Demetri honestly came second and I came third and so on. I can promise you that, I would'nt lie about it now. The list was another little thing to create hype about the Herald, a business stunt.

 

If you have ever witnessed MrJamesHerald and Ant online at the same time, it was me on two laptops which could only be done at specific times of the week due to my Dad using it etc. I would be on a call to Gez and he would be intructing me and making sure I was natural and kept my cool.

 

If you ever saw the Herald post a late issue it's cause the real Ant would be busy. Last weekend was my 21st.

 

Speaking of 21st's, we completely forgot when MrJamesHerald's birthday was. Only found out when we came online. So if you called us out on that, we would have bluffed big time.

 

Of course, this was all complete necessary to attempt to steer our name from him. Granted, some of you could see through the lines. But hey, there it is. Worked with alot of people. But that was the name of the game folks.

 

Power, and being Biased.

 

Overall, The IMVU Herald was Biased (ding ding, here comes Tonio and VitoSoprano). Of course it was, it was ran by a family currently operating in the same world. Of course you can't 100% say that's fair.

 

But we really tried, and we never ever ever ever wanted to abuse that power.

 

MrJamesHerald became so popular, so much of a big issue (pardon the pun), so many families future's and reputation where held on what this guy said. We just could'nt afford to abuse it, for the sake of the Newspapers life and popularity itself.

 

Fact is, MrJamesHerald was our business and we wanted it to last. If we went out all guns blazing, and started dishing out bad news to certain familys we didn't like and so forth, it would be over within a week due to a big public uproar. We had to do it right.

 

Of course, some would argue our job was still not good enough about being fair. But we would rather judge how well we have performed by the popularity of the Newspaper, the life it's had and the money it's made rather than some jelous kids who don't understand the term 'Bias'.

 

However, like I first said. This was a Newspaper controlled by a current family. So we did take little luxury's along the way. I think, and I'm sure many others will, that we used this very very sparingly and never abused the power. I will honestly say all this time we did not ALWAYS deserve to be in the 'influence' ratings( but hey, different story now). We literally created one paper, that just said we got a good thing going on. We never said we beat anyone, or overcame anyone. Not directly in terms of a full page spread. We just had too much respect for the people who followed us, even the ones who hated our alter=ego's.

 

We always knew in our mind that The IMVU Herald was a fantastic defense mechanism. If anything kicked off, we haad the upper hand. But it never came to that. Even our latest episodes with The Firm where never reported on, because it was too much of a rocky ground. Rez, to be fair, 100% knew it was us ffrom the beginning (more on that soon). So we could'nt risk our papers reputation by stepping on that rocky ground.

 

Good news and bad news about a family, (and we're very sure 99% of Mobsters on IMVU would agree with us) was determined by the following:

 

(please take into account our eyes and ears where EVERYWHERE , as Capetta and Herald)

 

• General Reputation (what most of the community thought of you)
   

• Business (we wanted to credit people who where attempting business. That's attempting. You did'nt have to be a multi millionaire business man. Just saying you had a restaurant was good enough. We did'nt care about the actual income.)
   

• Income (Not always our concern, because we respected that some people where here for purely fun and roleplay)
   

• Situation in battle (how well we think you're dealing with a war. For example, SOprano's saying they are no longer contunieing their attacks on Sokolov because Demetri is back was piss poor. That's like Man United saying "Oh no, Liverpool have Suarez. We don't wanna play".)
   

• Image (image is important., At thee end of the day we're online and we can't actually do much except sit in chairs and type. When a family puts alot of effort into looking good, we loved that. Sokolov's had this raw russian theme going on. Montana's all cuban. We would'nt necesserily mark you down though if you didn't have a good image)
   

• Size (It wasn't always the size that mattered, it was how you used it)

 

All of the above was looked at in detail and compared thoroughly with other families. We strongly believe that competition makes IMVU Mafia click. We believe the era of 2010 -2011 was the worst era for IMVU Mafia. All you had was groups being made to glamorise the individual. THis was the start of being a Don in a day. There where hundreds of Mafias. Competition is what we are here for, not a picnic. We all wanna be the best, but not in a cheap way by all holding hands. And as MrJamesHerald we determined who are the best around in the fairest manner we possibly could, though of course never perfect. The job literally could never be perfect for anybody, so shut up and sit down right now if you wanna bang on about that.

Like I said, most people we ain't raising a big middle finger to. We're thanking you for taking part. MrJamesHerald and this newspaper situation should be carried on I believe. Yes it's always gonna be a little biased, but we at Capetta believe it's something that's part of the community now. It's a beautiful thing that we've all enjoyed.

 

Just like the first "joke" paper I made, this was most importantly FUN! and gave a little more action and spice to the community!

 

So here are some special mentions, of some brilliant people we have met and families we have had the pleasure of meeting. I can say for all of you that we took NO PLEASURE in ever knocking you down. It's just something at times we believed was fair, we had to be fair with those we dislike and like.

And with a few of your members gone, surely you had to take a knock. But all credit to a great great guy. It isn't the end of you that's for sure.

Who is MrAldoFerini and what gives him the right to make this group?

 

This question poses a very valid point. Who am I to make a group like this? Much of the community is new and will most likely not remember me so here is a little bit about myself. I joined IMVU in 2005 with an account named MafiaAF, where I created one of the first Mafia families on IMVU. Along with the Dons of the other families we formed IMVUs first ever multi family community, it was a Mafia council known as the Mafia 5 where I was elected chairman. The group ran smoothly and by 2007 contained the 8 most powerful families in Mafia. In 2007 I left IMVU and closed my family. In 2008 I came back on my current account and reformed the Ferini family despite the original council being closed down. I then decided to retire from my family duties in 2009 and had a string of Dons managing my family until I eventually closed it for good in 20010. In 2009 I was again voted to preside as chairman on the new IMVU Mafia Council. Despite my roots as a Don I have always found my best role to be in an advisory position and during my time have been senior adviser to countless families and large groups. These large groups include, The Mafia 5, The Mafia Council, The Firm, The Company, The UO, The UGBO, Mafia Veterans.

Some people will know, Saffie dramatically sided with 'The Firm' in a very heated arguement. She was fueling something that was causing alot of stress for me and Gez and Capetta.

 

Reason? Cause she just wanted to pick a side. She openly admitted she wanted to pick a side. She literally said "Rez is a nice guy". If you wanna look at how bad this was, I outlined it all in a previous thread that's still up.

 

Never have I been stabbed in the back so much, because on Herald and as Ant I'd call her beautiful. When there was some trouble about her real life pictures, I just tried to make her feel better and call her nice looking. Telling her, on both accounts, I'd be there for her.

 

As Herald, I even wrote a whole paper about her and how great of a mobster she is. I gave her her own paper. Never spoke a bad word of her. All the Capettas even voted her on the top 10 list.

 

Saffie had an idea it was us because we briefly mentioned it to her once. THis was'nt the reason why we was so nice to her, caus we completely forgot we ever did that. But having said that, even in both cases - if she knew we was Herald, or if Herald was his genuinely himself - she's stabbed both in the back big time.

 

You pathetic little runt. You deserve nothing. You come online for attention, you get it on a plate and then that happens. F*ck anyone who thinks you got anything decent going on. We've witnessed you shit stir over and over again. That holla board thing wwhen you brought up old dirt over Imperatore or something? Shit Stiring , big time.

When you come online to IMVU Mafia, you're naturally more interested in being a mobster.

 

You don't instantly become a reporter.

 

Besides, you would havee to be somewhat involved in the community to report on it.

 

SO be wary of any new newspaper.

 

We... where the originals and probably gonna be the only ones who are able to do this because the whole system is void now, because you all know it's backed by an Alt. Nobodys gonna fall for it again. If one is made, I doubt its gonna be a 6 figure business (Y)
