History

 

In the words of Giusseppe Capetta.

 

The Capetta Family began in September of 2007, it was named The Mafia because there were very little around, when Mafia became a more common thing at around 2008/9 we decided to change our name to the now named "Capetta" family to provide a more serious and unqiue look to our family which in turn resulted in The Capetta Family innovating the mafia landscape, being the first with a family name in their avatar names, family developers, advertisement, actual small business' such as loan sharking, public room protection which was a big thing back in the day, and of course custom "Mafia" products which ranged from suits all the way up to custom guns. 

 

It was new and refreshing and although we didn't earn a whole lot, we did provide others with an example and alternative to the mafia roleplay style which was first invented by The Casino Family which were the first ever mafia family on IMVU to be created.

 

We instead however focused on a more realistic take, not caring for roleplaying as much but rather attempt to " life " a mafia life on IMVU, with all the risks and rewards that come with it.

 

The Capetta Family has been around since the very beginning, in 2007 when groups where first invented. That's why we gave ourselves the title "The Mafia" because nobody existed in the form of Mafia we're familiar with today. We've been around long enough to know the tricks of the trade and all the cheats.

 

2010-2011 we was concentrating on our real lives which we don't regret. But we would have loved to be around at that time. We feel that this was the era that Mafia became out of control, from various groups being set up to focus on the individual, to those individuals then lieing about being an "underground" corporation. It was a mess. We only wish we could have gone back to that era when we meet a so called "legend" these days.

 

We have gained some very experienced, top class performing mobsters. FrankCohen was once our enemy believe it or not, but his true grit and determination to come back fighting really impressed us.

He's an enthiusiastic guy that we would sooner be with than without. Rex and Limpy, two of the most famous people in the community are with us, so you can imagine how lucky we feel. Rex is a money making machine and Limpy has the connections, making these two additions a very strong plus. VenetiCapetta is one of our new wiseguys in the making, ready to make an impact for Capetta at any cost, along with GabeCohen who is equally as impressive. And of course we have two of the biggest Ex-Don's of the 2013/2014 era, AidenCapetta (AidenMoretti) and StrykerCapetta(StrykerMontego) who's experience and know how is tremendously valuable to us. We're emmensly proud of the new members we have, there is a strong sense of family between us all now and we're very excited for the good times ahead.

 

We will be focusing our attention more towards our business instead of the Mafia politics now that the Herald is gone, we just got our hands on a couple of hundred back of the wagon items and will be looking forward to lining our pockets at the expense of the many sexually active on IMVU. Now that the Herald is done with, we no longer have to worry about spies and such, which is why we have started recruiting quite alot, we have since the Herald's sale acquired bigtime players in the Mafia community that know what their doing and will be great additions to the family.
